Looking for 2018 LED rebates in Michigan, but don’t know where to begin? Like an item on clearance, you need to pursue LED rebates before they’re unavailable. Right now, the Michigan Energy Office (MEO) is offering a 25% bonus matching rebate. The completion deadline for 2018 LED projects is May 1st. The project has to be complete in order to qualify.
LED Rebates in Michigan
Through the MEO, the Michigan Agency for Energy Office (MAE) announced in January that they are offering a pair of 2018 LED rebate programs, one for commercial buildings (interior and exterior lighting included) and the other for converting streetlights over road systems.
In both programs, MEO will match your utility rebates up to 25% of the total cost of replacing your current lighting placements with LED light sources, up to $10,000 per applicant.
Converting to LED through Energeia will also give your company:
- 30%-70% saving in electricity costs.
- 80% more energy-efficient lighting sources.
- Up to 100,000 hours of light.
Funding for converting to LED is given to participants on a first come first serve basis and will cut off if the funding is depleted before the May 1st deadline. Applicants must submit their complete applications to the MEO which can take up to 30 days to approve or deny. So, if you’re looking for 2018 LED rebates, now is the time to get your project started!
